Who we are

This website, www.lhopemadeit.com, is run by LHOPEMADEiT, a creative media and technology agency in Tema, Ghana. We decide how the information collected through this site is used.

What we collect

  • When you contact us: the details you enter in a form or send us, such as your name, email address, phone number and message.
  • When you buy or sign in: your name, email address, billing details, password (stored in encrypted form), and your order, download and licence records.
  • When you comment on an article: your name, email address, comment and IP address.
  • When you browse: technical details such as your IP address, browser, device and the pages you visit.

How we use it

  • To reply to you and provide the work you ask for
  • To process orders and deliver downloads and licence keys
  • To provide support and send important messages about your order
  • To keep the site secure and prevent fraud
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it
  • To meet our legal and accounting duties

Payments

Payments are handled by our payment provider, Paystack. Your card or Mobile Money details go directly to them and are not stored on our website. We receive confirmation of your payment and the details needed to manage your order.

Cookies

We use cookies that keep you signed in, remember your cart and currency, and protect the site. Where Google Analytics is turned on, it also uses cookies to show us how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, although some features, such as checkout, may stop working.

Who we share it with

We share information only as needed with the services that run this site and your order: our web host (Hostinger), our payment provider, Google for site analytics, and email services. Videos and other content embedded from sites such as YouTube are governed by those sites’ own policies. We may also share information when the law requires it.

Some of these services may process information outside Ghana.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Order and payment records are kept for as long as our legal and accounting duties require. Messages and account details can be deleted on request, unless we have to keep them by law.

Your rights

Under Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to how we use it. To make a request, contact us using the details below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.

The LHOPEMADEiT app

If you install our website as an app on your phone, it opens the live website. It stores only an offline screen and its icon on your device.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
